Connect ChatGPT to Jobber in About Ten Minutes

If you already pay for ChatGPT and you run your business on Jobber, this is the missing link between them. Once connected, you can ask things like "which quotes over $1,000 are still waiting on an answer?" and get the real list from your real account, not a made-up guess.

Here's the whole setup, start to finish.

1. Create your Inrconnect account

Sign up and create an organization. Think of the organization as your company's control panel: it holds the Jobber connection, the permission settings, and the activity log. If you have an office manager, you can invite them too.

2. Connect Jobber

Go to Organization > Integrations > Jobber and click connect. You'll sign in to Jobber like you always do, and Jobber will ask if you want to allow the connection. That's it. No API keys to copy, no developer settings to find.

Your Jobber login stays between you and Jobber. Inrconnect never sees your password, and neither does the AI.

3. Add Inrconnect inside ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, add Inrconnect as a connector using the connection details shown in your dashboard. Claude works the same way through Customize > Connectors > Add custom connector. Approve the connection once and you're linked up.

4. Decide what it's allowed to do

Before you ask your first question, pick the boundary:

  • Read-only means the AI can answer questions but can't change anything. This is the right starting point for almost everyone.
  • Read-write lets it also do work: draft quotes, reschedule visits, add notes. You choose exactly which of those actions are on.

The Jobber connection covers clients and properties, requests and quotes, jobs and visits, invoices, team members, and daily sales summaries. All 31 actions are listed on the Jobber tools page, each marked as "looks up info" or "makes changes."

5. Ask your first question

Start simple:

"Find the Hendersons and show me their last three jobs."

Then try the one that usually sells the whole thing:

"Which quotes haven't heard back in two weeks?"

If those answers look right (they will, because they come straight from your Jobber account), you're done. Ask from your desk, your truck, or your phone.
