Getting Started with Housecall Pro
Connect your Housecall Pro account to Inrconnect with an API key.
Overview
Inrconnect connects your Housecall Pro account to ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP-compatible AI clients. The connection is made with a Housecall Pro API key, which you generate in Housecall Pro and add to your Inrconnect organization.
This guide walks through generating the API key and connecting it to Inrconnect. Once connected, follow the client guides to finish setup:
What You Need
- An active Inrconnect account with an organization
- A Housecall Pro account
Housecall Pro MAX plan required
The Housecall Pro API is available only to Pros on a MAX plan. If you are on a different plan, you will not be able to generate an API key.
Step-by-Step
Generate a Housecall Pro API key
In Housecall Pro, open Settings and go to the API section to create a new API key. Housecall Pro's help article covers this in detail: API Overview.
When creating the key:
- Name it Inrconnect so it is easy to identify later.
- Select Full Access for permissions.
Copy the API key - you will need it in the next step.
Add the API key to Inrconnect
Head back to Inrconnect and open the Housecall Pro integration page.
Paste your API key and save the connection.
Review your connection details
Once the API key is connected, the integration page shows your connection details, including the MCP endpoint used by AI clients:
