Connect to Claude

Overview

This guide connects the Inrconnect Housecall Pro MCP to Claude as a custom connector so you can query Housecall Pro data and run supported actions from a Claude conversation.

What You Need

An active Inrconnect account with Housecall Pro connected - see Getting Started with Housecall Pro if you have not connected your API key yet
A Claude plan with custom connector support (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise)
A Housecall Pro account on a MAX plan (required for API access)

Add the Connector

Individual plans (Pro and Max)

Open connector settings

In Claude, open Settings > Connectors.

Authorize the connection in Inrconnect

Claude redirects you to Inrconnect. Select your organization and the Housecall Pro integration, then click Allow access.

Don't see Housecall Pro in the integration list?

Team and Enterprise plans

An Owner or Primary Owner needs to add the connector for the organization first:

Open Organization settings > Connectors.
Click Add connector, then choose the custom connector option.
Enter the remote MCP server URL: https://www.inrconnect.com/housecall-pro/mcp
Finish adding the connector.

Once it is available to the organization, each member opens Settings > Connectors, finds Housecall Pro, and clicks Connect to complete the Inrconnect authorization flow.

Test the Connection

Open a new Claude conversation, click the + (search and tools) menu, and make sure the Housecall Pro connector is enabled. Then ask:

What can you do with the Housecall Pro tool?

If Claude responds with a summary of the available Housecall Pro tools, your connection is working. Claude only receives the tools allowed by your organization's access mode and per-tool restrictions in Inrconnect.
